We have been reading the story, A
Fine, Fine School, in class. We will have a test on this story on Tuesday,
August 23 (comprehension and vocabulary). Students made flash cards for the
story’s vocabulary words in class and should have them in their Take Home
folder. As we read, we have been working on comprehension skills starting with
predicting and questioning. We will also discuss story elements (character,
setting, plot, problem, resolution) during this Quarter.
